GT-R Nismo Parts Prices Unveiled. GT-R NISMOは部品価格も素敵。

When we peruse through the catalogue of GT-R NISMO, we notice quite a number of “NISMO exclusive” parts.

As of 1st Feb, prices of tires and seats are still not made public but we have found out the rest.


It was quite popular to turn R32GT-R into “NISMO-look” but with NISMO GT-R, exterior parts will end up costing almost 7 million yen… If we try to turn an “ordinary” GT-R into a NISMO GT-R, exterior parts as well as hardware will cost just as much as the car.


We have, further, looked into “NISMO exclusive” parts and found something interesting.

What caught our attention was the GT3 turbine used in NISMO GT-R. The catalogue says “High capacity integrated turbo built by IHI” and when we checked the parts number… it rang a bell. We dug into our old notebooks and found that the parts number is exactly the same as the ones used in Spec V. So we went to ask our source in IHI and he says “IHI only has one model for this kind of turbo and Subaru(STI’s high end models, we presume) uses the same turbine as well”

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge MIGHT carry VR38DETT engine?! インフィニティQ50オールージュの情報すっぱ抜き!

Jalopnik humored the speech given by Infiniti America’s big boss, Johan de Nysschen, enough. We will keep quiet and direct you to Jalopnik’s funny take on the presentation of Infiniti Q50.

But we were so stunned by this car and went straight to our reliable sources. Yes, when someone says “sources”, one would expect it to be just a rumor… But remember how accurate our information had been on GT-R NISMO?

1. Nissan/Infiniti has not made a decision on the release of Q50 Eau Rouge yet.
2. Running prototypes will be built later this year.
3. The 500ps engine is most likely going to be the de-tuned VR38DETT

We really would like to see Q50Eau Rouge in the market!


「If we built this car I would expect it to feature over 500hp and 600lb/ft of torque. Through our various alliance partners we have access to a range of engines featuring this performance capability which, with a fair amount of engineering effort, can be developed to exhibit Infiniti character and accommodated within the Q50 engine bay. The engine we are evaluating for the Q50 Eau Rouge is a big personality, V-cylinder engine with forced induction. I think our engineers have been waiting for a project like this」というスピーチでした。

11月28日現在、GT-R Nismoは約15台、MY14は約80台の受注しているようです。

Leaked information of 2014 GT-R shows “R Hybrid” is yet to be seen… 2014年式GT-R内部情報に「R HYBRID」の文字は一切出てこず・・・

We have obtained a highly confidential internal memo regarding 2014 Nissan GT-R. As much as we would have liked to see “R Hybrid” whether it be KERS developed by Williams or new hybrid system for R35… there was nothing of that sort…

All we gathered from the memo was the fact that Nissan delaer network handling GT-R may change hands to exclusive dealers only in Japan. But that doesn’t concern many of you reading this article in English.

There are Pure edition, Black edition as well as Premium edition in terms of packagings but other than that, there seems to be not much change. Whether they have revised the engine output is unknown. As for optional equipment, there are Recaro carbon bucket seats, Rays forged aluminum wheels, dried carbon rear wings… yeah, cool. But then again, there were no photos to impress us either.

Ah well, at least we still have Nismo GT-R to look forward to at 2013 Tokyo Motorshow…

個人的には・・・、ちょっと残念でした。「R HYBRID」の商標登録の話題もあり、WILLIAMSとの技術提携の話もあり、KERSでも搭載してくるかと思っていたんですが、そのようなことは一切記載されておりませんでした。



嗚呼、「R HYBRID」には相当期待していたので、ちょっと寂しい気がします。まぁ、NISMO GT-Rのデビューがありますからね、2013年東京モーターショーでは!
