R35 replica made by New Millennium Motors in China… 中国の新千年的汽車なる業者がＲ３５レプリカを作るとか・・・

I was browsing through YouTube and have encountered what is said to be the replica of an R35. Yes, it is made in China by the team called New Millennium Motors. Despite my effort for googling them, there was nothing. So all I can tell you is of the description written on the post of a YouTube video.

These are 2 exclusive pictures that were just released to me, now copy protected, of a company’s example of their Nissan GT-R replica, made in CHINA. Styling is directly aimed at the GT-R, performance isn’t comparable as it’s supposed to have a 3 cylinder 1.5L turbo and automatic. YEAH, 3 cylinder! The company is searching for engine manufacturers in Australia, don’t know what they’re interested in though, maybe older engine castings that were sold by Toyota.
Not much else for information…”

What? 3 cylinder 1.5l turbo??????

I also found a YouTube video of an R33 being converted into an R35 pasted below the Japanese blog. Honestly, I don’t know if it’s worth the effort…

This particular sample of so-called replica R35 looks as though it is the “real” R35… made to look like replica by replacing badges… Ah well, when and if we find out more on it, we’ll let you all know!

GT-R Otakuなのに、なかなかGT-Rネタがなくって困っている、担当者ですが・・・、今日はなかなか面白いネタを拾ってきました。何かないものかしらん、とYouTubeを漁っていたら、出くわしたのがR35のレプリカ。期待通り（？）中国にあるニュー・ミレニアム・モータース（新千年的汽車）というところが2枚の写真を公開したらしく、アップロードした人が公開しています。ただ・・・、どうGoogle検索してもひっかかってきません。というわけで、YouTubeに記載されている通りにご紹介します。

2枚、ワタシにだけ公開された写真で、ニュー・ミレニアム・モータース社が中国で手掛けた日産GT-Rレプリカ、日産GT-Rを目指して開発されているがパフォーマンスは比較できない。3気筒1.5ｌエンジンにATを採用。ニュー・ミレニアム・モータース社はオーストラリアでエンジン製造業者を模索中で彼らが何に興味を持っているのかわからないが、トヨタの昔のエンジンの可能性も。詳細不明・・・」とのことです（笑）。

いやぁ、ツッコミどころ満載です。しかも公開された写真・・・、個人的にはレプリカ仕様のR35（本物：エンブレム交換のみ）に見えて仕方ありません。どことは申しませんが世界にはレプリカのスーパーカーを販売するとネットで広告を出し、手付金を支払わせ消える業者がゴマンといるんですよねぇ・・・。

もとい。R33をR35仕様にコンバージョン、いわゆるレプリカ作りの記録動画もありました。

ハッキリ言って・・・、大変過ぎます（笑）。

R35 has no soul? R35には走りに魂が感じられない、そうです・・・

Nissan GT-R is a bargain. With a sub-3-second 0-100km/h time, enormous grip, and a host of performance-enhancing technologies, the GT-R is, undoubtedly, amongst the best. But the GT-R has been knocked for being too efficient and precise in how it delivers its substantial performance, for lacking the “soul” of some of its European rivals.

The host of Motor Trend’s “world’s fastest car show’ Justin Bell takes Nissan’s supercar to the track, to see if it lives up to both its mythical and clinical reputations.

As for the torque distribution, Nissan set it so that anyone can drive fast through coners. It is unfortunate that none of the motor journalists fail to point that out… What the hell is “soul” anyway? Does the car have to be edgy at times to be called “soulful”?

Will the next generation GT-R be soulful or do Japanese not have the ability to make cars with souls?

デビューから7年、成熟に成熟を重ねたGT-Rですが、相変わらずジドウシャヒョーロンカを満足させるには至らないようで・・・。自動車評論の難しさは乗り手／書き手の主観に左右されるもので、絶対ということがないことでしょうねぇ。まぁ、どんな“評論”に関しても言えることですが。

モータートレンド誌が展開している「World’s fastest car show」というビデオで2014年モデルのR35を取り上げています。ル・マン優勝者でもある元レーシングドライバー、ジャスティン・ベルが試乗しているんですが、絶対性能は認めつつも、サーキットではイマイチ「魂を感じられない」と難しいことを申されております（笑）。

っでもって、最終評価ですが加速性能、絶対性能、コストパフォーマンスは評価しつつ、エンジン／エキゾースト音、トルク配分、トランスミッションの古さを指摘。たしかに的確な指摘ですけど、魂って何でしょうね・・・。それが次期GT-Rには加味されるのか、それとも車作りがヨーロッパのライバルたちと違うのか、気になるところです。

っでもってトルク配分ですが、これは誰もが安全に速く走れるようにした結果じゃないですかね？特にサーキットではグリップ重視のトルク配分が運転の上手い人にはアンダーステアとしか感じられず、辛いみたいですね。

多少の危うさを残さないと、ジドウシャヒョーロンカには好まれない？？？

The Bolt is the name of a new Keating Supercars’ car. ザ・ボルトって響きからR35のスペシャルモデルかと思ってしまいました

British supercar manufacturer Keating is back with a new model called ‘The Bolt.’ When we hear of the name “Bolt”, GT-R Otaku thinks of the goldern R35… The Bolt is Keating’s follow up to its previous SKR, TKR and ZKR supercars, all of which feature a powerplant sourced from General Motors.

The Bolt will carry a 7.0-liter LS7 V-8 delivering 505 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The company has revealed that The Bolt will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.0 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 300 mph. Construction is par for the course of any modern supercar: a carbon fiber and Kevlar body, aluminum spaceframe chassis and a flat undertray to reduce drag. Power in The Bolt is directed to the rear wheels only, via a six-speed transaxle.

Despite having revealed three models already, Keating is said to have sold only around 15 examples since the launch of the first one back in 2006. That makes sense, as Keating only has three staff building the cars. They claim that each cars are built specifically to customer order and no matter what a customer’s personal preferences may be, they can be met. Orders for The Bolt are now being taken. A launch date is yet to be announced.

BOLT & R35

ボルトと聞いたら、ウサイン・ボルト、世界最速の男、金色のR35、日産のグローバル広告が頭に思い浮んでしまいます。まぁ、世界最速の男、色んなメーカーの広告やマーケティング活動に参画していて、億万長者です。

そんな「ボルト」にあやかったスーパーカーがイギリスのキーティングから投入されるとか・・・。ハッキリいって、どさくさ紛れに聞こえてなりません（笑）。2006年に誕生したキーティング、まだ15台しか生産実績はありません。従業員3名ですから十分ですけど。

小規模スーパーカーメーカーらしくアルミスペースフレームにカーボンファイバーとケブラーのボディを載せ、ほかの主要部品は外部から調達。エンジンはGMのLSシリーズで、ボルトには最高出力505psを誇る7lV8のLS7を採用。0-60マイル加速は2秒、最高速は300マイル以上って・・・、480km/h？？？？？？？眉唾ですねぇ、FR車なのに。

いやはや、この手のスーパーカービジネス、ここ10年でさまざまな場所で立ち上がりは消えていってます。「ボルト」の名称、商標登録できるものではなさそうですし、〝あやかり″ビジネスがどうなるのかちょっと注目です。

536馬力のG63AMGをヘネシーパフォーマンスで700馬力まで引き上げて、R35とレースしたらどうなるかなぁ？って思った奇特な人がいるようです。はい、Rモードにしないと、R35でも負けてしまうパフォーマンスを手にしているそうです。いやぁ、良くも悪くもG63AMGは直線をR35と同じようなペースで加速するだけでも怖いだろうなぁ・・・。
